Don’t want to be mean here, but Lucic and Monahan could only be moved to a tram with lots of cap space and Calgary would need to provide 2nd rounds picks for nothing more than future considerations. Unfortunately too much money for the return. Monahan has gone down in value unfortunately… Lucic.. ouch… send him to ARZ to finish off his career.

Idk why other Isles fans are freaking out, Coronato, Zary, and Mangiapane isn’t a terrible package for Barzal. Coronato is a LI kid that profiles as a scoring winger we desperately need, Mangiapane is a good two-way scoring winger, I don’t know much about Zary but he was a recent 1st rounder, and our top prospect is Raty who is a center so it’s not like trading Barzal would create a massive hole. A little more would have to be added though on Calgary’s side

I thought it was a decent offer too. Honestly your getting some very good prospects which have been trending up since getting drafted and a legit 30 goal winger in Mang.

I think it's an okay package (personally I'd say throw a 1st rounder in there to get it over the finish line), but at the same time I don't see any need to trade Mat Barzal unless he asks for one.

Agreed 100%. I just mean that if the worst-case scenario happens and he requests a trade, I would be happy with this package
