Mode - plafond salarial: Basique

Description

- Out of all the goalie options for the Leafs out there, I believe this would be one of the lowest risk moves that could be made that still carries a high chance of success. Think Talbot is a phenomenal goaltender.

- D-core is pretty self explanatory. Pairings could be moved around. Rielly & Sandin will quarterback their own PP's while the remaining for will play on the PK.

- Adding Strome & Rodrigues would be two massive moves for the Leafs. They could really add some secondary scoring while giving Keefe immense flexibility in terms of line-combinations. Robertson should also be a full-time player now. I think this puts him in a good spot to succeed.

- Kämpf & Engvall are an exceptional duo that dominates when they are out together. I believe Anderson complements them well. Although he only had a cup of coffee in the NHL this season, his results in terms of driving play with those two were really good. He get's the nod over Simmonds for me to start the season.

Still think it makes sense for the Wild. The return is fair, and the cap-space created by the move can be used to sign a cheaper backup like Comrie, Holtby or Halak, while utilizing the remaining cap space to sign a good bottom 6 forward. Don't think it is a terrible move from the Wild's perspective. But we can obviously disagree on that.

They should try him with Marner and see if they can rekindle old chemistry, if Bunting-Matthews-Nylander works if not can see if not then try Bunting-Tavares-Nylander. If that fails then Strome-Tavares-Nylander.

Don't really get your point at all. There are so many possibilities with him in the lineup. Haven't even moved around Marner or Bunting here either.

Minnesota tried that with Talbot and Kaapo kahkonen and it didn't work. Trading Talbot would make Minnesota need another G.

Hawks tried. Only thing that worked was putting him in the middle of Debrincat and Kane. So yeah if you want strome as your 1C with matthews and marner on his wings it should work fine. But I don't see that happening

I'm just saying you don't want strome and Tavares on a line together. But strome needs superstar players so that leaves only matthews and marner. And it'd mean moving matthews to wing. It's just not a fit.

You are right, they don't need anything. It would be Toronto needing the move more than Minnesota in this case. I think the 2nd round draft pick reflects that. But I can definitely see where you are coming from.

There's Nylander, they can move them both to the 3rd line with Kampf perhaps but yeah, if he's slow probably wouldnt work well with Tavares. Sounds like it's something they should only try for a year then.
