In this scenario, why wouldn't the Leafs just add Husso? They are a more attractive team to go to right now and he's costing a negligible cap hit more than your retained Murray. The Leafs would even save a pick.

Terrible for the Sens. Adding all that cap for aging UFAs when they need cap a year from now for their RFAs seems like a bad idea.

Hamonic used to be a very appealing player but he's clearly lost a step and carries a lot of baggage from his past teams - I doubt the Sabres would take him even if it was for free. They're better off just re-signing Pysyk if they want a bottom pairing veteran for depth at a more reasonable cap hit.
