This trade rumor is flying around on Twitter..... But there has to be a high prospect on MTL side going aswell..... Like anderson is at best 40 point per season, and injury prone...... Dvorak also is maybe 40 point player, but good at faceoffs (nothing crazy)

I mean if anderson plays along side Tkchuck & Norris, maybe gets more points.

Maybe add Norlinder or Roy to MTL side, and Ottawa may be interested

This is as much wishful thinking from the Montreal side as it ever can be. Ottawa isn’t taking 10 mill in cap, Ottawa isn’t looking for a centre and Anderson doesn’t move the needle in the top 6

I don't disagree with you. Ottawa SHOULDNT do this trade. BUT Ottawa also has like 30 million in cap (Maybe 20 million by the time they sign Norris / Branstrom) - so adding one of Dvorak / Anderson wouldn't hurt them..... Adding both might lol

We just have a lot of guys like that. We need a high end top 6F who can put up 60+ pts more than we need a supporting top 6 player. We also have a lot of 3rd line guys. Middle 6 is strong we don’t need that, we need sure fire top 6 like Keller or Debrincat

That's false and you know it. Big Power forward go at a premium in this league. It's a lot of talk from a team that fields Gaudette and Formenton in their top 6.

Their contract are fair market value - While I don't see this trade happening, don't start on that route.

Anderson would easily fetch a first round pick+ just like chariot, top 10 pick mtl would need to add.

Toffoli has had one 50 point season and got a first plus, chariot a first plus with a career high of 26 points. There is a reason mtl went to the finals, these are good players and Anderson is no different, if anything he is worth more.
