Anaheim has no interest in Nemeth with a 3.5 million salary in 23/24 on his 2.5 AAV cap hit and two years of term. The whole point is finding guys owed less money than the AAV to hit the floor without actually spending the money. One year term much preferred.

Why would we buy him out. The guy's salary matters, the Ducks are not a big market team with an unlimited budget like the Rangers are.

As to the 2nd and reaching the salary floor there are many options for that around the league. The Ducks are going to choose the option that best fits what they need and that is not Nemeth.
