Probably so but it will cost substantial picks and young players for the likes of Sergachev or Chychrun. OEL can be a win now top 4 d man.

Yeah exactly, the Kings are still 2-3 years away from win-now and have the assets for that type of player

Prospects or ELC’s with a high pick is the rumor. We were after a 1st and a top 6 C prospect for Dumba. I’d imagine a first and a top 6 C prospect is the ask now.

Kings might do this if Vancouver retained 50% of his salary. No way do they even consider taking on OEL's full cap hit for 5 years unless they're heavily incentivized to do so.
