This would be quite the gamble for the Leafs. I feel Nylander for Kane is a fair trade, but I don't know how the Leafs would be able to resign him after the season unless they move additional players or he signs a team-friendly contract.

Chychrun would solve a lot of issues in the Leafs D-Core. Using the blueprint of Roster Player, First Round Pick, Top Prospect, I think Muzzin, the Pick and Niemela are enough to get the conversation started. I chose to send Mrazek there as they will need a goaltender and roster players to reach the cap floor next season and beyond. I do feel however that even if this deal was approved by Arizona, Muzzin would likely exercise his NMC to avoid going to that **** show.

Kerfoot is a good player but the moves I made pushed him down the lineup. I chose Ottawa as he would offer them some top 6 value and worse case allow them to re-coup the draft pick by flipping him at the deadline should they fall out of playoff contention.
