Most the year he really didn’t look great, but the last 15 games or so he seemed to gel really well with Tippett and Cates, the 3 out played pretty much every line they played and Frost was looking VERY confident, doing some beautiful plays and being intelligent with the puck.

If he continues that development of the last 15 games, this deal is an absolute steal. If he goes back to how he was for the long stretch, then it’s a bit of an overpay.

Truthfully, I want to see everyone on philly without AV for a year since everyone’s numbers and value dropped considerably under that coach (-.150 to -.300 PPG difference) so I wouldn’t be shocked if coaching held him back

agreed, I just look at this fully healthy team and say this is wayyyy better and a competent team with health and fedotov assumptions of course

I think that Chicago would pass then, doesn't really fit our rebuild and seems unnecessarily risky. Hope he works out though,.
