I mean cap wise. Leafs would be looking at a rental. Niemela makes more sense than liljegren at this point. I just don't see dubas giving up what Vancouver would want for a rental.

I think it depends on the trade. I think if it was something like Nylander + Niemela as a base for Miller at 50% then Vancouver should really look into it.

Then the issue becomes re signing him. How much money and term do you want to give a 30 year old player. He's going to be looking for bank. Just not sure it's worth it for the leafs. Better to add something smaller than try to upgrade nylander. In my opinion anyway.

Well I think with Kerfoot coming off the books they could definitely re-sign him. My guess is around the Hertl deal. IMO you would bring in someone like Miller to push Tavares to the wing

In my opinion we would bring in someone younger. Re signing Miller and then hitting the same issue doesn't make sense. Why not replace Tavares at centre with nylander?
