Trading for Kane is so dumb and so unnecessary. You're basically suggesting we should take our genuinely good forward group, throw half of it out, and instead rely on three completely untested prospects, and a 34 year old Patrick Kane. Just let the group we have right now mature, and tinker with the lines.

Yeah, I don't see the point in getting Kane if we're left dipping into the AHL team in order to fill the bottom 6, and the guy that will start 15-20 games.
