What would you give me for RHD Ryan Sproul?

You seem to have a rather large collection of wingers who are bordering the status of being overpaid. I see Smith, Berglund, Ennis, Pominville, Read and Kulemin all fitting that criteria. My question is: Do you have any interest in taking a gamble on Ryan Callahan rebounding towards a 40 point season now that he's fully healthy? He seems to fit in with what you've collected thus far. The price I'd be asking for him would be relatively small even though I do believe he will have a successful year coming up, I could pull the trigger on the right deal.

On another note I do have a 1C type player on my roster that I don't need to permanently keep. The options there would be David Krejci (Possibly retained) or Mikko Koivu. These players would cost more than Callahan, but you seem to have only fringe type guys at C who could be considered middling players. I see you're interested in Callahan. I have similar reclamation projects in Benoit Pouliot and Dale Weise; would you give me anything for either of them?

Not as expensive as it was when I took over for the previous GM. I now have traded for Krejci, Koivu and Killorn who have all worn a letter on their jersey before, so I don't necessarily need the leadership he brings. It would cost something though as I'm not looking for cap space so I have no reason to move him now that he's finally fully healthy and ready to attempt to break the 40 point barrier.

Gauging your roster is hard as I can't tell if you have your prospects ranked in any order. I'm interested in the following players if they are slotted on the depth chart as you have them; Keifer Bellows, Cliff Pu, Dennis Chowlowski, Vitek Vanacek.... I feel those guys are pretty low on your depth chart and yet I find them as interesting talents. For Vanacek it would either be straight up or something like RC + 2018 3rd OTT for VV + 2019 4th Wsh + 2018 6th Wsh. I think that trade would offer a fair amount of value to both parties. Bellows didn't really come through as expected last season as he's the one I know the most about, so I would offer the least on top out of he Pu and Chowlowski. Chowlowski is next as I didn't think this guy was a legit 1st rounder when Det took him. I was really puzzled that detroit gave up the right to select Chychrun to get that guy. Pu looks like the best of the 3, so I'd offer the most added on to Callahan for him.

As for the other talent on your roster. I would give RC for William Karlsson or Nick Cousins. If you cared to make a bigger deal involving them I could add Danny O'Regan (almost ppg in AHL) to replace them on your depth chart for your 2018 3rd STL.

If you wanted to do just picks, probably a 4th + 6th would give me some chance of finding an NHL caliber player in the draft in the future, even if it is only a 4th line type player. I could also do a 5th 6th and 7th. That may actually be better because I'd get another full player to test out. 2018 5th + 2019 6th + 2020 7th that way you don't lose a lot of picks in the same year. I could probably stretch it to even a 5th and 2x 7th's, so I don't have to compete for undrafted free agents.

Sorry if this was a lot to read, there is simply a whole lot of situations in which I could move Ryan Callahan to you as I can replace him on my roster with Kevin Lebanc and replace Lebanc with Fehr.

I like Karlsson and I don't see much I am interested in on your team that motivates me to move him.

Esa Lindell from MIN for Deangelo? maybe not sraight up but just looking at a starting point. If MIN makes a trade with NJD we will have Lindell but we cant do this trade right away.

No, Lindell is good but I like Deangelo a lot. It would take something really big for me to move him.
