I don't hate the idea of the Montreal trade but the issue is we need a bit more cap space to resign both Pitlik (around 2 mil) and Romanov (2-4 mil based on length). Therefore just swapping salary doesn't really work unless we move Josh for futures in another trade.

If I was the Habs I'd say yes to that deal.

Its to early for Philly to give up in TK and Ellis though. Healthy season for Ellis would be great for his trade value if they go that route and Konecny should be a guy they build around
