I'm not sure how it's that big of a haul. Rangers should be a playoff team again. Lundkvist is a solid prospect but he's not an elite prospect by any means and he's blocked by Fox, Trouba, and Schneider on the depth chart. And Kravtsov is a reclamation project.

It's not all that different from the Copp trade that turned out to be a 1st + 2nd + prospect. but Bo is better than Copp and you're getting him for a full season at half the salary.

The reason why I don't see Kupari or Vilardi being involved in a Garland trade is that the whole point of acquiring Garland is to add to our RWs, where we're currently playing Adrian Kempe.

It's because it comes from a handful of active trolls. It is super annoying though when you're trying to get some honest insight from people. I'm on here to learn and discuss with other fans but it's unfortunate because a decent portion of the most active people here have no interest in productive conversation or considering other viewpoints.

I went back to check (30 pages) and my exchange was at the very beginning of the month, and illustrates your point perfectly. Oddly enough, it involved another Vancouver post: one of your fellow Canuck adherents (Sky something) had created J. T. Miller trades with 4 different teams and asked readers to RANK them in order from best to worst. So in fine CF fashion, the first 4 commenters (one from each team, including a well-known Boston troll) ignored those not-very-challenging instructions and said The trade with my team stinks. Now I will admit to having a poor sense of humor about people who type without thinking on social media in general and people so discourteous that they ignore Team Explanations on CF in particular, so I quoted all 4 of them and with what I consider no more than my usual asperity and said Did you people even BOTHER to read the Team Explanation? Naturally, not one of them had the intellectual honesty to say Oops, my bad but all four doubled down, including the Bruins troll who, predictably, closed his "reply" with "Moving on."

He's like the infamous Montreal guy who responds to every Habs trade with "[other team] adds a second."

I've retained 750k here so it's 5.25 for two years. Speculation around the market is there will be a market and Canucks can move him if they want to. They're not going to get much of a return but sounds like he's moveable.

I've seen trolls that advocate for Minnesota, Boston, Pittsburgh, Carolina, Winnipeg, New Jersey, and Montreal, all in addition to the Rangers. Never considered that maybe all the different Wild accounts were potentially all the same guy
