I wouldn’t trade Sandin for Crouse straight up imo he was one of the most overrated players in the league.

Sandin is soo... over rated. If the Leafs can cash in by trading him for an overpayment, than they should.
Same goes for Nylander, over rated, his stat line looks great but his on ice performance is a red flag that he isn't great.

I agree. Which is why it ISN'T a straight up trade: the leafs are also dumping Mrazek. If it makes you feel better you can remove Engvall.

I think this is pretty fair for both teams. Leafs get a power forward and cap space and the coyotes get a promising young defenseman and a solid 3rd line forward who can probably play higher up for them.

I’m not a fan of either team, I just think Crouse is a guy that pads the stats he has with a handful of games and is a big nothing the rest of the time. I mean the guy has never not once had a Positive xGD, generally speaking gets worked in metrics. He’s a big guy with skill that is a total tease.

I agree he's probably a tad overrated, but he's a big power forward and teams like that aspect of a player. Wouldn't hate the idea of getting him but I also understand why people would want to pass on him.

An off the wall idea is the Wild, Kerfoot used to play with Jost. He could be serviceable throughout the lineup, but they are cap pressed as well.

Agreed. Not concerned in the slightest about getting something for Holl, and not very concerned about Kerfoot either. Both of them should be gone do the leafs can sign some free agents, as you said there are players out there willing to take less.
