I don’t think the Ducks take that. Compher doesn’t address any needs, and Bowers looks like a bust. It’s really a very late first and Girard, but with the Ducks top two D prospects being very undersized Drysdale and Zellweger, they need to be targeting dmen with size and Girard doesn’t address that at all. Value is pretty good though

Yeah no. The value is actually not terrible, but Girard just doesn’t address the right need for the ducks at defense. They have multiple undersized, puck moving prospects between Drys and Zellweger who look very promising to land in the top 4, but that means Girard can’t complement that top 4. Need someone with size

Kerfoot isn’t the answer, COL has been there done that. That is a massive overpay for Gibson, He hasn’t been good the last 3 years and, sub .905, sub .5 QS%, and negative GSAA. And tell me how Compher is a contract dump? If the goal was to mess up the team, make them worse and not have any draft picks then mission accomplished. This is not good.

Not true. This is an entirely acceptable offer for Gibson.
