Conventional wisdom around Nj is that Severson gets extended over the summer. It seems both sides want that. So Devils are very unlikely to make him available.

That said, if contract didn’t work out for whatever reason, there have been a number of teams that have offered pretty aggressive offers for him that likely have this one beat.

Contract seems a little light for Kuemper, no?
Would definitely want the Devils to beat that AAV if Kuemper makes it to free agency.

We'll see. So far in the playoffs he's been just OK, good enough.

I'd love to have Manson back but am not sure his next contract will be affordable. Someone like Severson would be a nice rental option.

maybe not now but after most of the season in AHL we'll see. Sakic promoted Newhook and Ranta in the last playoffs. IMO this is possible
