Barrie is a defensive liability but offensive built as a agile skater who can move the puck into the zone. The 7th best offensive Defenceman for a decade of stats and a contract at less than half a million. A team with one of the 4th lowest GF can use Barrie while giving a year of Soucy. Barrie is not a top defenceman but if he was defensively sound and had these stats he would cost more than 8 million and also take a Top 6 forward or Top 4 D in return to consider a trade
