That Dach trade isn't too far off, but is an overpay. That PHI 1st is a DEFINITE overpay.

Doubt we can sign Fleury and I think Pegula would be wondering why we are spending so much over the min cap and paying Fleury that when we aren't a competitor
My bet is if we sign 1 subban then we sign 2; I really think we run Wedgewood, UPL, Anderson in NHL, Subban, Tikker, Houser in AHL (not that I love this, but think its realistically what will happen. Unless we can make a trade for Murray, Varlamov, or Hill - but doubt the first 2 waive their NMC for buff

I would definitely have to consider that offer for Dach. There are a few players in that should fall in the VGK 1st range that I've had my eye on. But it's hard to justify giving up on Dach so soon. I'll give it a maybe and all the other CHI fans will probably give it a hard pass.

I expect Chicago fans will not like. It's a quantity deal, no fan base ever wants a quantity deal for a guy they expect(ed?) To be a star. I don't know if they would get a better piece than 16oa as part of a package, but, there you go.

I think the Philly trade is a huge overpay, for a few reasons. The main reason is because I assume the op intention is to draft whichever right d drops to 5, and I firmly believe that the biggest hole on our team is going to be at 1c. I would be fine with moving up for a franchise center. Plus I like olofsson. If Philly has any designs on drafting a right d, it's not enough anyways, and who knows what fletcher wants.

I would offer sheet Kakko, if we are talking about high draft pick who hasn't reached his potential, route.
