Forget Value the wild just cant afford this. They will definitely not be retaining money when they already have such a high dead cap hit. They are taking on money in this deal. It just makes no sense for them at all to consider. I think the value is fine if not too much for one year of dumba unless there is an extension but it just doesnt work out financially. It also makes no sense to Acquire the one way contract of duhaime to just scratch him. thats not enough to dump mrazek either imo. Overall im left confused by this GMing. Dont mean any offense

Minnesota declines easily. We aren't trading Brandon duhaime. We sure as heck aren't retaining. We don't want Justin holl leafs fans, just like we don't want Kerfoot. Only leads fans can offer their bad for other good and ask ti retain. By the way duhaime played every game in his rookie season and is seen as next Marcus foligno. Minnesota isn't trading any elc contract or cheap contract or retaining it taking on contract dump

Yeah i def agree with you. Duhaime is an ok fourth liner but that's about it at the moment. Not the next Foligno in my eyes whatsoever.

I agree as well. I like Dewar more than Duhaime when it comes to bottom line minutes. I'm looking for him to have a big year this year. He often times looked reactionary and got away from his game. He was awesome early in the season and started to get away from it as the season went on.
