Come on, Monahan has fallen off a cliff, Dvorak is doing better on the worst team

Monahan: 29 pt pace
Dvorak: 48 pt pace

I know points isn't everything but 20 points is a big difference. Especially looking at the teams for each players

On what planet is Dvorak not better than Monahan?!?! Monahan was straight scratched in the playoffs.
He’s a shell of his former self because of injuries. Habs puke all over this proposal and send it back!

Cost more than that to get rid of Lucic. Only Calgary sees that boat anchor as a positive. Pittsburg is not taking any of that cap hit.

He played injured the entire season. This is the only season in their careers where Dvorak has had a higher ppg than Monahan. When SM is healthy he is clearly the better player

ya, but it takes a long time to recover from one. And even when you do, a player isn't 100%. One surgery won't affect a player much, but several of them will. Monahan is always injured and also was in the past. At one point it will catch up to him

Surgeries do take time to recover, however Monahan starts skating again some time this month. He is a few weeks ahead of schedule right now and should be healthy well before training camp.

Every surgery has an equal chance of affecting a player unless its a repeated surgery. None of Monahan's surgeries are for repeated injuries.

Pittsburgh wants nothing to do with Milan Lucic.

We would, however, start a go-fund-me for him if he’d take out Trouba on one of those “legal” hits that might accidentally make head contact…

There is no chance the Flames can trade both Lucic and Monahan without having to give up significant assets. Both contracts are terrible, Plus both players have modified no trade clauses which will make trades even more difficult to make.

Gaudreau and Tkachuk also aren't signing for anything less than $10M on 8 year deals. The only way Tkachuk gets less than that is if he accepts his qualifying offer at 1 year $9M.

That's not the playoffs, this is exactly what you said "Monahan was straight scratched in the playoffs."

He was "healthy scratched" for 2 games during the regular season, came back for 3 games before approaching his teams management about having a potential issue. On April 2nd he got X-Rays and it was determined that he needed a right hip replacement. That kind of injury doesn't just occur in a week, he had been playing through that all season

Don’t kid yourself. He would have been scratched dude…Truth is Monahan has very little value around the league.

And you keep saying he was injured as if that doesn’t affect his value….no one is trading Dvorak at 4.5M for Monahan even with retention.

You’ve been wrecked in these comments. Just take the loss. It’s a bad proposal….it’s ok, I’ve made bad ones too in the past

LMAO, Why would he have been scratched if he was healthy? He's a top 6 60 points center when he's healthy. That's obviously not the case those as he was injured, that's why he got surgery. You do understand the purpose of surgeries right?

How have I been wrecked in these comments? All you've done is spew off your nonsensical opinions
