In fairness though - Chuck is a much better D man than Reilly is, sure he may be paid more, but that is because of 2 factors....he is better and he signed his contract later than Reilly did. As for Marner, I think Pasta offer more to the Bruins than what Marner could and I am not sure his extension will be as rich as Marner's which makes this also a silly move.

McAvoy at 23yrs old finished top 5 in Norris voting and I expect him to again this year. He's a franchise caliber d-man that plays in all situations.
