I don’t think Turcs has that much value ATM given his concussion. I’d say another piece goes back or you flip Turcs with Kupari.

That was last year. Turcotte hasn't really showed much so why not trade him for a guy like Fiala who would likely be a big part of the Kings for years to come?

Bc LA still really likes Turcotte & there’s uncertainty with signing Fiala long term
I’d be pretty surprised if LA did this
Especially since you’re adding on a top20 pick & a 3rd

Because Eichel wanted a surgery for his neck that had never been done before on an active NHL player. There was so much uncertainty.

Wasn’t an issue for LA
They had offers on the table for Eichel, i know that for a fact

However, LA wasn’t gonna move Turcotte or Byfield
They decided they were untouchable

And btw, Fiala signing long term is far from certain as well

Injury uncertainty is vastly different than contract status. Minnesota also had an offer on the table, but no shot they would have offered Boldy.

I don’t think the Kings need to go too hard to get Fiala, an offer sheet is. 1st, 2nd, and a 3rd. Fialas value should be around there. And they only make that trade once they lost out on Chychrun.
