Goals are not the only stat in hockey. They have a career.68 and .67 ppg average

Goals are the most important stat for forwards. Especially when the difference is 20

In that case, Flyers trade JVR for Mittlestadt JVR is a 25 goal scorer, we will even retain salary

Would you rather have a 100 point player with 12 goals or a 50 point player with 35?

I think Bertuzzi is trending up where Konecny has tended slightly down or already peaked. I'm not opposed to a Konecny trade but it would likely be got futures like two seconds or something.

How does that apply? Konecny had 52 points. I don't think anyone in the NHL has every put up 100pts with only 12 goals.

Konecny is a C, but his 2-way game kinda fell apart this year. It's difficult to compare TK to Bert, as Cs have more responsibility on the D side than wingers do (unless you are playing the left wing lock). If TK picks up the 2-way game again next year, his value would be higher than Bert. Bert plays a gritter game though (Philly style) that is well built for the playoffs, but PHI is nowhere near the playoffs.

I don't think either team would entertain this type of trade.

50 point player. If the rest of his line is putting up 88 goals his 12 is even worse looking
