Description
EDM needs cap relief and Klefbom is dead weight. If he comes back he'll probably be a step behind the game. But if he can play well, he's an immediate upgrade on D3 with fellow countryman Brannstrom or someone else.

Brown is a guy with one more year and would be a demon for EDM on a reasonable cap hit. Maybe there is more value to be had here, and the return isn't a huge name guy like the core asked for, but there is potential for sure. I think EDM should jump at a Brown deal if this is the framework, he's such a great winger and would be Hyman Lite.

The big ouch is Jesse P. EDM wants to resign him but will have tough choices this summer, and OTT needs real value back for a guy like Brown (could easily fetch a 1st + at the deadline). He fits into Ottawa's top 9 and might be a nice winger for Stu. Also his vibes are immaculate and I want them lol. What we thinking fellas?

1. 13.4 for us is 5 for teams that can actually spend to the league cap. Sens have an internal cap.
2. you undervalue Brown
3. yes, but those are dollars that still need to be paid and EDM is in a cap crunch. Less money spent total is better in their situation, might have a buy out coming too

Zaitsev can always ride the bus with Belleville.



2. Saying I undervalue Brown means you haven't looked at any of my ACGMs where I trade him.

If anything, you undervalue Puljujarvi.

If it has insurance, Edmonton is paying only like 10-20% out of pocket.

Klefbom's contract has absolutely zero impact on Edmonton's cap crunch.

Zaitsev riding the bus still means OTT needs to pay him. They have no money. If he were to ride the bus, this season would've been the time, he was brutal. No I didn't check for your ACGMs lol who do you think you are? Brown is better than JP and would be excellent mid 6 depth for EDM, better than JP right now (the obvious window). LTIR - see above

1. If Ottawa has no money, we would have traded Brady before we signed him.



2. I think I'm someone who's looking at a thread where the author of it is losing arguments on multiple fronts.

That would be you.



3. Connor Brown might be the better player, but he's a pending UFA next season.

Puljujarvi is an RFA under team control.
