Doesn’t make sense for Isles. U could retain 50% and still not get a pick for Zaitsev.

Isles have no need for Zaitsev and taking on his cap hit.

The last thing the Islanders need is a RHD, let alone one who would be their 4th best RHD @ a 4.5m cap hit.

The value is fair on a Zaitsev cap-dump, the team is just wrong. I'd say the same for Colin White - Boston doesn't have a ton of room to be taking him on, but if you want to dump his deal, that's about what it would take.

I think it's an overpayment for Dumba as well - giving them a pick and a prospect should be fine.
