Carolina declines for sure. I think the Ducks do that if they decide to trade one of Gibson / Stolarz. Colorado probably declines.

That Lehkonen trade is brutal for Colorado. Also there’s no way he would accept a 5 x $2M. That’s below even his qualifying offer.

Also, why would Zacha sign that offer sheet and why wouldn’t the Devils match? He could easily get more in arbitration. Devils aren’t letting someone like that walk easily.

The longer I look at this, the less it makes sense.

So COL trades a top D prospect and a 2nd for Lehkonen that is now killing it in COL and then they going to trade him for a late 2nd and send a 3rd. That’s just not realistic.

Canes reject instantly. They aren’t trading Jarvis. Period. How many times does that need to be said? And they sure as hell won’t trade him for a garbage package like that.
