I don't really see why they would. Nylander 0.98ppg on the second best offence in the league, Bertuzzi 0.91ppg on the 8th worst offence in the league. Nylander -9 on a team that is +62, Bertuzzi -11 on a team that was -82. Nylander 19 hits and 30 blocked shots, Bertuzzi 65 hits 41 blocked shots. Nylander 6.962M, Bertuzzi 4.75M. Nylander has two more years but Bertuzzi likely doesn't cost more than Nylander now to resign.

Plus Bertuzzi is a 200' player while I'm not even sure Nylander knows what the D zone looks like.
