That's a regrettable Forsberg contract...

And Zadorov, at that price/term, is a mistake.

I can’t help but feel like the nichushkin contract will be regretted. He can’t stay healthy and this is the only season he’s played where he’s worth anywhere near that number. I doubt he will repeat it.

Zadorov - like the acquisition but I can’t say I like that contract. It’s a lot for boosting the bottom pairing.

I don’t think there’s a need to retread into Jarnkrok territory personally as it just eats up cap that we will need to extend Jeannot, Fabbro, and carrier.

Pretty solid team though.

From the sound of things, It sounds like Forsberg is a goner. And that's way too much for Zadorov.

Nichuskin is easily worth 5M he can get you 60 points while being defensively elite. I agree otherwse though

Nashville has better taxes. At most he will get 8.9 per for 8 years

1 time… he’s done it 1 time in 6 NHL seasons… in a season where scoring is up across the board in the NHL. Every other season is roughly half of this year. Sure he may of figured it all out and he will be a 60 point forward from now on but I think him (and a lot of other players) will regress back to their typical numbers next season

He wasn’t in his prime? Also you clearly have never watched him play. He’s always driven play well and have gotten chances he just can’t finish the puck. He’s also one of the best defensive forwards in the whole league. He is worth 5M every. Day. Of. The. Week.

I guess even if his production were to slip back to the 30s and he stayed as a top defensive forward it wouldn’t be that bad of a contract.

He’s basically Danault as a winger
