WPG will want more than he's worth and BOs/WPG just don't match-up well for a trade

no one is going to pay that price for Scheifele. He is so bad at defense it negates his close to PPG performance.

Boston and Winnipeg aren't good trade partners. Any trade for Scheifele would start with Carlo.

and that's why it will never start, good luck if you think any team will trade a u25 very solid defensive dman for the worst defensive C in the league, any team who does that is just asking to let in an extra 40+ goals a year. i think maybe you could bring in an Offensive young RHD but defence wins championships and especially for most teams they want their C's to be the more reliable defensive players in their offence.

schiefele just doesn't fit the mold of a 1C stanley cup winning Center

winnipeg has all the talent in the world but when 3 of your top 5 forwards (conner/ schiefele/ wheeler) are ranked as 3 of the top 6 worst defensive forwards in the league and then your other 2 (ehlers/dubois) are ranked in the bottom 25% percentile for 5v5 defence it doesn't translate to much success

I would absolutely love Lysell, but I don't see Boston giving him up for Scheifele. Mark to Boston really isn't a fit.
