No, no, no, no, no, Myers doesn't cost a 1st and a 3rd to dump. Heck, he doesn't cost anything to dump because the Canucks aren't desperate to get rid of him

Lol Hoglander? You’re laughable if you think you’re gonna whine and make a counter offer like that on a trade that isn’t even unreasonable

Yeah, and you do realize he's only a sophomore player right? He's not a run of the mill bottom six energy guy

Oh yeah let’s play that game. How many points does Lafreniere have? Just because he doesn’t have many points in his second year, doesn’t mean he sucks. Give your head a shake

Not sure why Lafreniere is brought in to this when nobody had previously mentioned him. Hoglander is just in his 2nd year yes and he is a small skilled guy. Skilled guys only scoring 18 points in a season isn’t good. Dahlen has more goals and points in less games and still gets benched. Sharks also don’t need Dickinson or an ahl defenseman at the cost of a top 10 pick in a deep draft.

Bro that 2023 pick is gonna be top 5 probably. Hoglander ain’t worth that at all.

Lol, don't you know what a sophomore means? Obviously Hoglander isn't a fully developed product, he's having the all mighty sophomore slump. I see where your train of thought is going, that Hoglander probably isn't contributing anything else if he isn't putting up points, but that's not entirely true. His defensive game is a work in progress, he's a good energy guy like I said, but most importantly, he has very good analytics

Buddy, the Canucks have been stuck in mediocrity since the Sedins retired. This is the first time the sharks have ever missed 3 years straight. Some times a team needs a bad stretch to get good again.

Hence why I’m asking. When are the Sharks gonna be better? They were doing pretty good for the first half of the year but then dropped off. I don’t expect them to be a lottery team next year. Why you gotta be so toxic lol

Sorry, it’s hard to gauge when people are asking serious questions on this site.

To answer your question. I’d hope we’d be good in 2023-2024. We have a bunch of really underrated prospects that will take about 1 more year to become NHL ready (Coe, Gushchin, Wiesblatt). Bordeleau seems NHL ready along with Eklund. Throw in 2 more high lottery picks and we’re a young and hungry team with veterans that have a wealth of playoff experience.

Yeah 1sts are off limits. I'd do a 2nd + maybe Dahlen for Hoglander at best
