I like a lot of these ideas but I wouldn’t move Liljegren. Don’t get Schenn, and replace Lily with a lesser asset

that being said - Schenn is at best a 6th D, not top 2. Liljgren is great with Gio. Losing Spezza would be a mistake even if he was only a 13th player - he has been a huge leader in the organization.

Don't think the blues would have any interest in Muzzin because of his age and contract. They are probably looking at younger options even if those options are more expensive.

Don't see the need to do the Canucks trade.

Kerfoot and Garland are similar players. Garland just makes more. Adding in a top prospect in Niemela doesn't make sense.

Washington doesn't even consider it. Wilson himself won't be traded for Nylander as the Caps management loves Wilson but the value at least is there. But a future 2 C who's super young and Wilson for a winger that wouldn't work with Washington's salary cap and an Engvall who is completely useless to DC?
