Who cares if they do? Lol. Poehling is a bust, nothing more than 4th line C.
What we would have to worry about, is caufield, but that can be solved with giving him a contract extension

We got a 1st and a 3rd for a guy who would've never succeeded in MTL despite plenty of opportunities. The way they used the 1st and the 3rd is another story though.

Fiala is more of a trade target than an offersheet target. Any offersheet that Fiala would sign & Minnesota wouldn't match would require at least MTL 2023 1st +, which can really bite the team in the arse.

I guarantee I watch more hockey than you do. And yes, he's a bust. A 1st rounder should never be a career long 4th liner (that's exactly what Poehling will be).
But, I'd be biased too if my name was a bust. That's just sad lol.

And BTW I got the trade deadline trades correct, so that comment is SO stupid, because my trade proposals were exactly what happened.
      But keep hatin!

well yeah the problem is aswell that it leave your roster with void you have to panickly fill. And if we traded kk at that point we could probably have had something better in return. anyway! history tells that offersheet comes back to bite you in the a**, better stay away from it.

I really like Luneau as a draft target but with Russian prospects losing stock in the draft(due to no fault of their own) Luneau goes higher than 25th. With that being said I think he’s worth moving up in the draft to acquire.

No you were off on all your trades
How can you say he will be a career 4th liner when he is only 23 yo lmao. Is ceiling is a 3rd liner and they are taking their time with Ryan. He got all the tools to be a good 3C. Danault was a 4th liner when he got here in MTL and it took a while before he became the player he is today. You can’t write off player because they aren’t dominant at the age of 23, especially when is ceiling never been higher than a 3C

Hey SevenLeg I hope we get Tristan Luneau with the Calgary pick
I think that will make losing Toffoli less hurtful
I like Luneau's upside, he would look good in a Habs uniform
