how is he having an average season?
he plays for a team that has played 2-3 rookies all season have had 4/5 starters out at the same time on multiple occasions, and 3 of the guys who have played consistently are Karlsson burns who at best are bad defensively and vlasic who has played horribly this season. if he had even a half way decent defensive group in front of him he would be in the running for vesina.

Nothing screams playoffs less than this roster.

Just give away Reimer why don’t you. Adding fringe nhl players won’t make this a playoff team

We MIGHT be interested in Reimer if we strike out with better options, but i doubt you’d get more than what’s in this proposed trade

No Barabanov? Too much for Gregor & Dahlen, & I'd personally like Gregor gone. He's fast, but can't hit the net to save his life.

there are roughly 75 goalies who have played more than 7 games in the NHL this year and reimer is top 15 with his save percentage. of the 14 above him almost 9 make double what he does. he isn’t average and he is underpaid.

As you can see as many other have found, Buffalove never listens to facts.
Of all GK who have played at least 20 games Reimer's 0.915 SV% is 18th, the best Buffalo GK SV% is 0.902.
His $2,250,000 salary is very reasonable.
I know this is old news but I seem to remember he was given most of the credit for Leaf's getting into the playoffs in the 2012-'13 season.
While I love collecting draft picks, a fourth and fifth is very little.
Marc-Andre Fleury with a 1.908 SV% was traded for a conditional first this past TDL.
IMO if James did as well next year as he is doing this year, Buffalo could flip him for a higher pick.
It would be stupid to say no for only a fourth and fifth.
