Well it makes no sense for the Leafs to have 21 man roster a 3.9m in cap. Certainly a 7th Dman has to be add. Maybe Lybushkin at 2m I doubt Blackwell signs so cheap.

This is supposed to be showing they can move Kerfoot and then have space to attempt to keep one of Mikheyev/Campbell, hard to fit that in the title. Blackwell signed a really cheap deal with the Rangers after producing so I dunno, it doesn't look like he'll get much, i'm actually giving him a raise. Ideally they'd have room to add an NHL body somewhere with the 4mil in cap to run a 22 man roster.

I added boosh at 1.875m instead so they run 7 Dmen, just trying to get a realistic idea of how hard it is to add a goalie/forward even after moving Kerfoot just trying to fill the holes that will exist in the offseason. Decided to buyout Mrazek and pretended Campbell will take team friendly deal given how this season has gone quite poorly after a hot start.

Kerfoot is a fine player, and certainly worth a second-round draft pick, but not to us. We have more than enough left-handed forwards, and LW is already over-subscribed for next season.

When the Rangers signed Blackwell he had played 33 game over 2 seasons with NSH with 3G and 7A. I’m not sure I’d consider this producing.
