I don’t think Casey would be that low and Chesley be that high.

Sharks would not take Lambert if Lekkerimaki is available. Lekk and Eklund are linemates in Djurgarden and he is exactly what we need, a RH RW goal scorer.

I think Vancouver could reach for Chesley considering their weak Defense, especially when it comes to RD.

My biggest complaint is i highly doubt Yurov drops that much. He's a complete player. Otherwise it's a good draft.

Usually there's one or two players who drop in the draft, and with what's been happening in Russia I think the stock of those prospects is getting lower.

Part of the reason why I didn't really include Russian prospects here. Only Mintyukov and Yurov.

My thought is if current Russian NHLers are safe then same for prospects. The big question is will they be able to get a visa to play in NA as those rules are changing rapidly so I see your point. Yurov is really good unfortunately.

Gotta think that for now the prospects/players under contract with KHL teams will be staying there for foreseeable future.

Sucks for the likes of Yurov, and Matvei Michkov as well.

Habs go Savoie over Slafkovsky, Gauthier, Mintyukov, Snuggerud, Rinzel, Pickering a bit high, can’t see Yurov falling that much right now, however, that’s subject to change

How do Habs fall to 4th? I gotta believe if Devils get 1st overall, they either trade the pick or hughes or hischier. Good situation to be in though. I like the Slafkovsky pick, but we have to come out of the 1st round with a RHD prospect. So that either means trading up to select casey, or pick chesley.

By not having lottery luck? In my example NJ and SEA wins the lottery, dropping ARI and MTL by two positions.

Devils may trade the pick...but why in the world would winning a lottery lead to the trade of Hughes or Hischier?

Wouldn’t be terrible. We could just move Wright to wing, or play him at 3C and keep Mercer, Sharangovich on wing. Maybe we trade Boqvist and/or Zacha. But no reason to push out Jack or Nico.
