Yeah i was thinking the same, saw someone else in a thread complaining the sens got fleeced again but this is a decent return.

I like this a lot for the sens maybe he can breakout for them like what duclair did in Ottawa

At the very least he's a young roster player within the age range that the team was looking for and can grow with the team in a 3rd line role. W in my books.

Yeah. I don’t think the Hamonic trade is anything other than Dorion hopes he bounces back and becomes a good partner for Sanderson or Chabot. Which is a horrible strategy

I find it hard to believe these two players could evoke strong feelings in anyone. At least not enough to think either team got "fleeced".

Yeah they can offer him a 2nd line spot . Why draft all those 5 2nd rounders on guys that are 4 years away when you can acquire 21-23 years old guys that are NHL ready or close to it

I loved JVR in Toronto he’s got great hands and is amazing infront of the net if philly will send a sweetener and you guys aren’t able to land Fiala,Boeser or Garland it could be a decent move. Also he will he guaranteed to score against Toronto lol

Hopefully not a repeat of the Stepan trade haha but maybe they bring in Monahan and play him on the wing with stuzle the guy has 200 goals and is only 27 his production has plummeted under sutter but I think he could bounce back with the sens but I do think konecny would be awesome I loved him when he was the captain of the 67’s
