I think of it as the leafs are dropping about a round or so to pick up a good developing goalie who’s RFA, I think they could get a swap like that based on the value he’s shown this season. Toronto would be picking mid-late in the 2nd and the 4th would be at the top.

I think they’ll be taking the 2nd on the Ritchie deal so I pretty much used that for mrazek as well.

im not saying that thats not what hes worth because KV stands on his head, i just for some reason think the yotes might see value in a guy like mrazek like they did with ritchie, tack on the second round pick to get a goalie whos gonna fly under the radars, i think thats the situation that would pan out in a veggie trade

It’s all good though, it’s actually been an exciting time to be a fan. They’re really going all out on a draft and develop rebuild for the first time (contrary to popular opinion), they’re likely getting a new arena just have to deal with the college chirps for a bit, tourigny is looking like a real solid player developer, Keller and schmaltz at PPG. Lots to like and look forward to

All probably in same range as Foote. Holtz, Luke Hughes, Mukhamadullin, and Gritsyuk are probably guys that aren't put out there.

And I don't think we would ask for Fischer as his role would be redundant with Nathan Batsian's role.

If I were Yotes, I would build a package around a replacement d-man (Ty Smith, LD or Reilly Walsh, RD), a young high-ceiling forward (Nolan Foote, Gritsyuk maybe), and a value pick up or two (Boqvist, Kuokkanen, Thompson, etc).

I actually wouldn’t be shocked if he still is. He’s supposed to be skating again by the end of the week, the injury isn’t particularly serious. I would like to see them wait until the draft to get more teams involved, but it sounds like teams are still on the trail with the injury update
