I hadn't even seen the Sturm trade. Interesting - his underlying numbers are a bit better than TJ this season. Hope he helps make the PK better. Not sure why Minny would make this trade, though.

To me, it looks like Sakic is trying to add size to the bottom half of the lineup. He seems to have received the message loud and clear that what he had in that part of the roster just wasn't going to cut it. I like the move overall and if it works out, he could be a very cheap re-sign.
