Regarding NMCs......I think the Canadian teams were important during the Covid border restrictions, but I think most players from a non playoff team would waive to Leafs and Flames..

Sure there are lots of players listed that could help the Leafs are any team. Leafs probably don't need forward help or would be wise to spend assets for forwards
But if cap allows, and reasonable assets traded, I would say Fleury, Giordano, Colin Miller could be on the Leafs "wish list"

Nylander is our best trade chip and is a phenomenal talent BUT I think we need to get defensive depth and playoff type forwards.

Kerfoot - versatile forward that plays wing and center, can play shutdown or offensive

Dermott has peaked as a 3rd pair dman that can sub in 2nd pair in a pinch.

Liljegren - solid 3rd Pair dman, possible will peak as 2nd pair
