Yzerman is trying to build a bigger tougher team in Detroit, And a smallish Hoglander isn't on his radar.

Dumba for Horvat or Fiala for Horvat is about all we're willing to offer. You're not going to get 1sts, top prospects from Minnesota.

Read the Avs are kicking tires on Miller. Likely giving up one of Jost/Compher, one of Barron/Helleson, a 2023 1st and possibly a 2023 2nd/20223rd. If it fits the criteria, probably have a deal. If not, yeah probably off to NYR then.

If I were Drury, my best offer would be Kravstov, Lundqvist, and this years 1st round pick. I would also substitute Chytil for any of the three pieces mentioned. I would not give a 4th piece, and would not ask for any salary retention and players such as Schneider, Laffy, Kakko, Shesty, and Miller are off the table. If that wasn't enough then I would look elsewhere.
