If we're having issues trying to figure out how FIala can play here next season and beyond, why would we trade futures for a player whose QO is almost $2.5 million higher than Fiala's? There is no reason we would or should be trying for Boeser. I'm convinced the only reason Canucks fans keep trying to make this trade is because he is from Minnesota.

Boeser doesn’t have that much value honestly. After his first 2 or 3 seasons he’s been steadily declining. I honestly think he has less value than fiala because he isn’t producing more and has a higher qualifying offer. So I’ll offer fiala for boeser and a 2nd. That would be about fair value. Given their current contracts, production and performance trajectory.
