Leddy has never been worth anything close to a 1st. He's been atrocious defensively ever since 2015 and can't even contribute offensively at 5v5. But yeah, Pettersson and Leddy have identical numbers.

Realistically, paying Pettersson 4m for the next 3 years to sit on your third pairing while you have to resign Malkin, Rust, Kapanen, Rodrigues, Anton-Reese, Simon, Letang, DeSmith is far from ideal and every other gm knows that.
