Rangers aren't moving Kravstov + 2 other assets for a back up goalie. A back up doesn't put them over the edge at all. They're looking for either a top end left handed defence or a top 6 right handed shot for that price.

Boston already has 14 FWDs that would have to clear waivers, he does not beat out any of them and they would have to put Carpenter on waivers so what’s the point. Even when they go to expanded rosters there is little use for him. Pick, as useless as it is, is more valuable.

I agree the ask for Hagel is a lot tho this was based off a loosely reported offer received from Hagel which was rejected.

NYR I also agree tho based this off what a friend who has worked in the league has heard that there were MAF rumours to NYR. Doesn't make sense to me so put together a package. Preferably I would just want a package including a high pick.

It might make sense as a back up and we have 37M TDL cap space so we can add him no problem. But he decides in the end, and if he won’t play for WSH then I don’t see him playing for NYR. However, I do see us taking on 50% cap hit for assets in order for him to play somewhere else that he agrees to go.

I think a 1 for 1 is fair
Kubalik has more potential but Zacha is the much safer option and has been playing better this year
