I mean if they need a RD then Lundkvist could be involved, Blais might be the addition to return a similar player in the trade. But they are in a playoff spot which likely won’t change.

No reason to unless it's an overpay-- and even then, I doubt it. He's the prototypical player for the style Hynes and Poile want to ice now. And he only makes $800k next season-- just great value.

I wonder how the year would have turned out for Blais had he not got hurt. Could be a bit of a blessing making it possible for us to keep him next year. Had he "broke out" for like 15/15 and 200 hits, theres no way we would be able to afford him. Atleast now were only on the hook for the QO.

Jeannot would cost much more than he’s realistically worth because he’s exactly the kind of player we want/need. We have no need for defense. We could use an upgrade in top 6 especially if Forsberg were to leave but that’s about it.
