I just don't know............it looks fair, but I honestly don't know if this trade would be good for either team. Nothing against either player, there's just something that says it makes both teams worse, esp cap related.

If Giroux is gone and flyers still want to compete, Shenn plays their style and would be a solid 2C, Blues desperately need a top 4 LD and they carry about the same cap. I think cap situation favors blues here because they get rid of an agin shenn before he underperforms his contract and if provorov doesn’t work out, there’s less term to have to eat the cap. Provorov has shown he can be a top pairing guy at times but also hasn’t always been the best, think a new team, system, and d partner (Parakyo) could be good for his game. Having said all that, I don’t necessarily disagree with you. I don’t think this trade would happen but just an outside of the box look for a LD for the Blues.
