Greenway is going nowhere. It's weird how on here , certain others who believe a player who was just resigned to multiple years deal will be traded. We didn't sign him to trade him. Also JT Miller under no circumstances is worth three 1st round pick. Sorry, but your gm , and fans can ask, doesn't mean it will happen. Minnesota wouldn't pay that

None of those would be accepted. But you asked for the most realistic, so I guess I'd have to say Calgary.

JT's a point per game player with 2 years left on his deal. With 50% retained, you don't think he's worth a high end prospect, a 25th to 32nd first round pick and a top 9 roster player?

          If not, what's he worth?

Jt has 1 year left after this season. 1. 5 exactly because of the remember of this year. Minnesota isn't in any cap trouble this year.Minnesota isn't trading greenway no matter what you think. It's a fantasy to believe a team is trading a player they just signed. Jt Being that player is because of who he plays with.

You aren't getting an eichel trade pieces from Minnesota.

Ya know, maybe he is worth that to some team out there. But not these teams, and not for these particular packages. They're all easily too much of an ask to those teams. Especially MINN.

Fair enough on Minny, I get Greenway was just re-signed and he's one of those guy's that has more value than his points would suggest.

If there's a bidding war and enough teams are seriously interested in him for a cup run, i think the price tag is there. At 50% retained, whoever gets him can easily flip him at the draft if cap future cap space is an issue. Honestly if the Canucks don't get this type of a package than they better wait till the offseason.

You act like Miller isn’t a good player when he would instantly become Minnesota’s 2nd best forward

Was it, though? Eichel, who was rather pissy in Buffalo, still has not played for Vegas, because he has a serious injury situation that has not been resolved in a very sensitive part of the body, especially for someone playing a contact sport at the highest level. We're gonna have to wait and see on that one.

You act like Miller isn’t a good player when he would instantly become Minnesota’s 2nd best forward

I don't see him acting like that anywhere.

He said “Jt being that player is because of who he plays with” which to me implies he thinks Miller isn’t very good and gets carried by his linemates. Maybe I’m interpreting it wrong though

Was it, though? Eichel, who was rather pissy in Buffalo, still has not played for Vegas, because he has a serious injury situation that has not been resolved in a very sensitive part of the body, especially for someone playing a contact sport at the highest level. We're gonna have to wait and see on that one.

Yeah, you're right. Miller is healthy and is a GAMER. Clutch performer as well. I'd rather have him than Eichel at this point.

He actually wouldn't become our 2nd best forward. You are wrong. points aren't everything. Stop believing that a player who was just resigned is getting traded. This is a fantasy that doesn't exist. Also no team , especially Minnesota is giving up three 1st round pick for JT Miller when they didn't fir eichel

Do we think Buffalo got good value on Eichel though? That was a **** trade for the Sabres. lol

GM's are no longer willing to take risks or make herschel Walker trade. GM's are more focused on the future, and not just now like some fans want to believe. Whether it was a good trade or not, that's what the market dictated

You can count boston out at that price tag.

If it was DeBrusk, 1st and a couple prospects that added to Lysell I'd consider it

Who apart from Kaprizov would be better? Maybe JEE? Also I know Greenway won’t be traded after just signing an extension, but this isn’t the equivalent to Minnesota giving up 3 1st round picks as Greenway is not worth a 1st

Ahh. I didn't catch that, thought there was some typo there. Okay, well if he was saying that, I don;t agree. Miller is excellent and well-rounded, and any team would love to have him. Just probably not at the prices listed above.

Greenway is worth a late 1st easily. GM's have paid for far worse. So yes, you are wrong. Carson lambos alone, is worth a 1st and top prospect considering he was just chosen. 1st round pick, and Jordan greenway, that's actually more than three 1st round pick. Either way, Minnesota isn't paying that price. Neither will alot of teams for a player whose about to become a free agent at next year's end and will be seeking long term contract at high numbers

My thing I was trying to say is just like Zuccarello, a player's number can be inflated or pushed up by who they are playing with..iE: fiala

Sure, but Miller has been carrying his linemates this season, not the other way around.

Let's not forget, Taylor Hall (rental) was traded for Nick Merkley, Nate Schnarr, Kevin Bahl and a first rounder (Dawson Mercer). Matt Duchene (UFA -2) was traded for Samuel Girard, Shane Bowers, a first rounder (Bowen Byram), Kamenev a 2nd and a 3rd. lol
