All these Miller trades are very unreasonable

If we can’t afford to resign him next year this move is pointless. And the cap is already an issue. We need a younger option that would make sense to resign for a good 6-7 years. Miller will be 31 on his next deal, as he turns 29 this year. That’s a hard pass on getting older.

that's the exact reason why avs wont do that trade....cant afford to extend him so after next year avs dont have Kadri who would be gone in UFA , Miller who they cant afford to extend, and newhook as their 2Cs. And toss in Jost avs have no real Cs after macKinnon in the line up. Makes 0 sense to sacrifice everything at that position
