After last night's game, the only reason Anaheim would want to acquire Cal Foote is to quietly send him swimming in cement overshoes in the South Bay.

I don't see Tampa moving Foote for a rental, although Tampa does need to make a move for a reliable and not made of glass RD. While Foote is improving, he's a big liability if he has to play big minutes in the playoffs this year. Given the more than likely chance that at least one of Rutta or Bogo will be hurt come playoffs,if Foote has to be part of a package to get a better RD(if even an unlikely to be re-signed rental), so be it. Foote may eventually reach a 2nd pairing ceiling, but it won't be soon, which is a problem for the win now position Tampa is in.
