Obviously some things would be a lot different and they eventually would probably have to trade someone like JVR, Konecny, or Saneheim to make cap room for Coots/Farabee long term deals next year, but thats too much too handle. This gives a good idea what the roster could've looked like. Still massive gaps in the defense under provy, makar pair. But like I said this just a good idea what the roster would've looked like before some moves would need to be made to keep a competitive roster.

Who knows if the Ghost/VorforAtkinson trades would've still happened, but I think they were reasonable trades that most GMs could see benfit in.

Its unreal how poorly Hextall trusted his staff and how poorly he worked with others. From Provy's development and how they treated him to ignoring his scouts about draft picks and trades. Is there probably a little more to it? I'm sure its not quite as terrible as it sounds, but some little threads of these stories have to be true and they add up to just an incredible debacle of roster management and thinking he's the smartest guy in the room.

For the record, I dont believe the team below is like so leaps and bounds better that they are stanley cup champs, but the team below is certaintly better looking than the current roster. Also, there could've been more hindsight theories like what if we took Werenski instead of Provy and all that kind of stuff, but I remained realistic to the rumored deals/draft picks the team was interested in. And adjusted the team accordingly.
