Even if it is a fair, it's rather horrid for the Leafs. LHD is not a position of need of strength for the Leafs. Silly to give up assets for a LHD. Even if Leafs have to trade Ritchie with the sweetener of a second., Dermot is an NHL Dman at 3.1m cheaper than Chychrun, Leafs need the cap and hopefully the cost efficiency of Amirov and. the first rounder. Just not cost efficient in the future.

It was a young NHL roster player that at the time of his injury led all NHL defenceman in expected goals for, a top 6 forward prospect, and possible 2 1st round picks. Chychrun won't return more than that
